Andrew Will Two Blondes Vineyard 2013

Andrew Will Two Blondes Vineyard 2013

Availability: Out of stock

"One of the more perfumed, lively and complex (at the moment anyways), the 2013 Two Blondes Vineyard continues the string of fabulous vintages from this vineyard. Made from 44% Merlot, 34% Cabernet Sauvignon and 22% Cabernet Franc that spent 18 months in 35% new French oak, its vibrant ruby/purple color is followed by fabulous notes of the essence of black cherries, violets, tobacco leaf, incense and spring flowers. Full-bodied, ripe, polished and mouth-filling, it shows the more fresh, elegant style of the vintage, yet backs it up with serious intensity of flavor and length on the finish. This beauty is already hard to resist, but will evolve nicely for another 10-15 years. Drink: 2016-2031. 93 points

I continue to think these Bordeaux blends from Chris Camarda are some of the most impressive, balanced, and age-worthy wines coming out Washington State. While these 2013s are a small step back from the sensational 2012s, they're all highly recommended. The 2014s show more flesh and texture, and I think will be a step up over the 2013s. Either way, both are rock solid vintages and these wines certainly deserve a place in your cellar."
