"Pale, vivid yellow. Highly energetic aromas of white peach, pear, melon and tangerine are complemented by a suave floral overtone. Juicy, focused and densely packed, showing superb energy to the mineral-drenched orchard and pit fruit and floral flavors. Strongly echoes the mineral note on the strikingly long finish, where the peach and tangerine qualities also resurface. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentations in barriques, 25% of them new. Drinking window: 2021-2027. 95 points

Yves Cuilleron raises all of his white wines in a roughly 50/50 mix of oak foudres and demi-muids of varying age and he bottles all of them under Diam corks, which he says, "have been working well, no complaints at all." He's taking a wait-and-see approach on his red wines as far as moving away from traditional corks, mostly "because some of the importers still aren't convinced about how the wines might age under Diam." His 2017s offer plenty of upfront appeal, which is unsurprising for a hot vintage, while the 2018s, from another year marked by heat, show a bit more energy and sharp definition, although I suspect that most of them will be drinking at their best on the young side."
